AEW Star wishes illness and death upon his critics

AEW Star wishes illness and death upon his critics who thinks he sucks at wrestling. He admitted that they had a right to criticise him and he had a right to wish them suffering.

Wrestling is all about character work. You could be the best wrestler in the business but that won’t matter if the fans don’t care about and react to you. The entire industry is based on provoking a reaction out of the audience watching them, whether live or at home.

AEW Star Joey Janela however, seems to have taken this mantra over the line. A polarazing character in wrestling, the Bad Boy did no favors to his reputation as he sent quite a message on social media to his haters and critics.

Janela admitted that fans were entitled to their opinions. They had the right to think he sucks at wrestling but he also has the right to believe they deserve “the most severe never ending case of strep throat” and “maybe death too, tbh.”

He tweeeted:

“All fans 100% have an right to an opinion, but I also have the right to say that wrestling fans that think I suck at wrestling deserve the most severe never ending case of strep throat….”

He followed it with:

“Maybe death too tbh.”

Janela hasn’t wrestled much this year. He has mostly been out due to an injury. Janela partnered Sonny Kiss in a tag team match against The Inner Circle’s Ortiz & Santana in the main event of this week’s AEW Dark.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
