Alexis Sanchez may not be joining Manchester City after all

After somehow managing to keep Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates for another year, Arsene Wenger was immediately pestered with questions in regards to whether he felt the Sanchez gamble would be worth it in the long run.

While Wenger knew that he was taking a massive financial hit by keeping hold of his star man, he was also convinced that Sanchez would be 100% committed to the Arsenal cause for the entirety of his contract.

After a few weeks into the season, it is obvious to see that Sanchez will indeed give his absolute best for Arsenal this year. But it is also painfully clear for Arsenal fans that he will be at another club this time next year.

Wenger knows that if Sanchez leaves for either of the Manchester teams, it would be as good as handing the Premier league title to them. With that in mind, the Arsenal boss must be glad that PSG are re-doubling their efforts to sign the Chilean forward.

Apparently, Manchester City are worried that PSG’s money make take Sanchez away from them as they are well aware that the Paris club would pay a significant signing on bonus to the forward.

Reports are saying that Sanchez would be pocketing a cool NINE MILLION as a signing on fee in January if he agrees to join Neymar and co at PSG.

This is certainly a unique position for Man City to find themselves in, as they are no longer the ones with the rich bucks. While City used to beat competition away by throwing cash at players, they realize that PSG are operating at a different level all together.

For neutrals though, if you thought the PSG strike force was scary now imagine adding Alexis Sanchez to the mix!
