Ander Herrera goal vs Southampton: The midfielder completed a brilliant move from Marcus Rashford with a delightful finish.
Manchester United started the game badly against Southampton after Mourinho opted for a 3-5-2 formation. With Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in the three-man defence, the side looked sloppy at the back, and United concede two quick goals within the space of 20 minutes.
However, Marcus Rashford stepped up at the right moment for the side as he played a part in both the goals for United at halftime.
He assisted the first goal for Romelu Lukaku, who scored after a 14-game long drought. The second goal was scored by Ander Herrera.
Until the time this was written, Manchester United are 2-2 at Southampton after the first half.

GOAAAAAL! United level it up at St Mary’s. Marcus Rashford does well to get to the byline and pulls it back to Ander Herrera who flicks in brilliantly. 2-2!

More fantastic work from the much maligned Marcus Rashford. You know the 21yr old that’s shit & will never be good enough

Since criticising him, Rashford’s really stepped up. Much better and more direct. Thank me later.
