Andreas Pereira to Arsenal: The Gunners are preparing a move for Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table. They secured three points on their trip to Vitality Stadium as they won 2-1 against Bournemouth.

The Gunners returned to winning ways after three successive draw games in the Premier League.

Unai Emery’s side remains 5th in the league table, but is now only one point behind Chelsea, who faced a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the winner for Arsenal, as the striker bagged his 8th league goal of the season. The Gabon forward is currently the joint top-scorer of the league alongside Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are also taking significant steps in the transfer market. Arsenal’s head of football, Raul Sanllehi earlier stated that the club’s transfer policy for January could be altered after injury to Danny Welbeck.

Andreas Pereira to Arsenal:

Varois reports in England claim that Arsenal will be making a move for the out-of-favour Manchester United star. The Brazilian footballer showed promises of being one of the mainstays at Old Trafford, but hasn’t been given chances in the new season.

After spending his first two seasons in Mourinho’s reign at loan outside England, Andreas Pereira was retained in the squad, but made only two starts in the season so far. He also received a national call-up with Brazil after he made a positive impact in the beginning of the season, but has been sidelined since.

The midfielder last made an appearance for Manchester United more than a month ago, when he came on a substitute for Anthony Martial in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea.

However, Arsenal are not the only one preparing a move for the midfielder. According to UOL esporte, a Brazilian media outlet, Andreas Pereira has offers from Chelsea and PSG as well.

Andreas Pereira is not the first Manchester United midfielder who Arsenal have been linked with. In the past, Arsenal were reported to be keen on Juan Mata.

The contracts of both the midfielders will expire at the end of the season. While reports suggest that Mata might sign a new contract soon, it looks unlikely in the case of the Brazilian midfielder.
