Antoine Griezmann: Atletico Madrid superstar furious at core Barcelona players as they advised the club to snub the French International.
Antoine Griezmann recently released a video dedicated to fans while announcing his departure from Atletico Madrid this summer. This video later fueled the speculations of his transfer to Barcelona.
The Catalan club were at forefront to sign the world-cup winning player amidst interests from several top European club. It was also reported that Barcelona are near to trigger his £105 million release clause to free him from his services at Los Rojniblancos.
However, in later developments, it was alleged that senior members of Barcelona are against the arrival of Griezmann to the Nou Camp. The reason being that several players were offended by Griezmann’s last year’s video, where he openly rejected Barcelona’s offer, when the Cataln giants were on the verge to sign him last summer.
One year later, the player officially declared his departure and expected Barcelona to hire him. However, due to players’ protest, the negotiations are stalled.
Therefore, it is further reported by Sport that Antoine Griezmann is furious at the Barcelona players for jeopardizing his move and making him stay at the “no man’s land”.
Presently, Griezmann is yet to hear from Barcelona regarding the transfer. Hence, the French International is propelled to look for suitable buyers.
Although, earlier Manchester City and Liverpool showed interest for the 28-year-old forward but they later backed out. Presently, only Manchester United are only interested to hire the player at that price.
However, considering Manchester United will not play in the Champions league next season, he might not want to join the Red Devils.
It seems that the player will have to wait until Barcelona highlights some clarity towards the transfer deal in coming days.

What’s next for Barcelona? De Ligt on standby due to Raiola’s demands, Griezmann frozen out after the dressing room is against him coming, and Valverde is staying.
One “positive” is Real Madrid is in worse shape than Barça to challenge for the domestic trophies next season.
