Apart from United, Liverpool and Manchester City are also chasing the Fiorentina starlet.

Fiorentina has set the asking price for their star winger, Federico Chiesa at 62 million pounds, amidst interest from Premier League giants. It is being reported that clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the front-runners to sign him this summer.

In Italy, clubs like Inter Milan and Napoli are also currently monitoring the 20-year old. Chiesa has been one of the most important players for Fiorentina this season. The Italian also received the national team call-up earlier this year, following his impressive performances at the club. The winger has since appeared in 5 games for Italy.

Chiesa appeared in 36 Serie A games this season.

According to TalkSPORT, Fiorentina originally set the price-tag for Chiesa at 44 million pounds, but increased it following interest from the big European clubs. Fiorentina has reportedly stated that they will not lower the price tag.

Chiesa is most naturally an attacking winger who has played on both the sides for Fioretina, as well as a central attacking midfielder. Chiesa also displayed his defensive abilities in a few games when he filled in as wing back for Fiorentina.

Manchester United traditionally likes to play their game on the wings, and hence the arrival of Chiesa would be central to the performances of the club next season.
