Antoine Griezmann: Barcelona superstar reacts to Lebron James’ tweet over confetti celebration and calls him idol.

Antoine Griezmann saved the day for Barcelona, as his brace against Real Betis helped them to register their first three points of the season.

It was Los Verdiblancos, who scored the first goal of the match, and Barcelona looked out of shape to even make a comeback, but a goal by Griezmann before the end of the first half to level the score, boosted the morale of Catalan giants.

In the second half, Barcelona roared back, and it took less than 5 minutes for the Blaugranas to register a lead after Griezmann scored a spectacular goal from the edge of the 18-yard-box.

To celebrate this, the French international went to the sideline, and made a confetti celebration to pay a homage to legendary basketball player Lebron James. The confetti flew by Griezmann was of Blaugrana colours.

This celebration by Griezmann fetched so much attention that James even posted a tweet to applaud Griezmann for his goal and celebration.

It didn’t take a while for the 28-year-old Barcelona start to respond at veteran Basketball player’s reply. and we can see that it was a fan moment for the World Cup winning player, who even called Lebron his idol.

Ever since, Griezmann has done this celebration, it is trending on the internet and since James also made a reaction to it, the Confetti celebration is expected to trend.

Coming to the impact of this goal, after this Barcelona went on a rampage and scored another three goals to make it five. From here, Real Betis had no coming back, yet the away team scored one more goal in the dying minutes, making the final score 5-1 at the full time.
