Conte to Real Madrid

The fullback is said to be eager on a switch as well

For Chelsea, the impending summer transfer window is going to be a crucial one. The first time Thomas Tuchel will be accorded money to spend on the kind of players he wants at the club, the window could end up defining Chelsea’s 2021-22 season.

However, before Roman Abramovich decides to once again open the strings of his purse, the Russian owner will be looking to rope in money as well. With his 220 spending spree not only transpiring as envisaged earlier in 2020, the club’s owner is bound to be tentative before pouring money into the club once again.

The London based club is set to indulge in a massive selling spree with a slew of favours being deemed surplus to requirements at the club. One such player is Italian Emerson Palmieri with the fullback failing to get any look into the club’s gameplan this season.

Chelsea set Asking Price For Emerson

With Ben Chilwell and Marcus Alonso both already vying for the left defensive role, Emerson is said to be on the cusp of an exit. And Chelsea have revealed their asking price for the player as well with 14 million pounds being demanded by the club.

Conte Eyeing Emerson Transfer

The club has already found a potential suitor for the defender as well with old manager, Antonio Conte said to be extremely interested in Emerson. As per Todo Ficahjes, Conte is sold on the idea of reuniting with a player who he brought into Chelsea’s fold.

The 26 year old Italian defender is also said to be keen on making the switch to Inter Milan. While any bid is yet to come in from the Serie A side, a potential transfer could be on the cards if the right asking price is met by both the parties.

Emerson meanwhile upped his stock after ensuring Chelsea’s quarter-final passage in the Champions League. The defender netted Chelsea’s second goal against Atletico Madrid only minutes after coming on, a sweet strike which left Jan Oblak well beaten.
