Police are currently investigating the matter in a bid to discover the identity and motive of the criminal. The envelope will be sent and tested for training. However, there is a belief that the act could simply be an attempt at seeking attention.
Regardless, both Conte and the club have been asked to remain vigilant in case they are proven to be wrong. Conte has unsurprisingly taken the decision to protect himself and his family in the aftermath of receiving the letter. He has stepped up security at his home and at the club’s training ground.
The plan is for video surveillance system on the road of Conte’s home to be analysed; as well as training ground in case a secondary delivery is made. However, both Inter Milan and Conte’s wife have reportedly denied that the letter was intended for Conte. Instead, the club claim that the letter arrived at the club.
Inter confirms that the letter was sent to the club and not to Conte’s home.

Italian football in shambles
Imagine being a football fan in their first year following the sport. You read about how Roma fans sent a Liverpool fan to Coma. You hear about the racist chants and how fans have come to the rescue of the perpetrators rather than the victims. If that weren’t enough, you are now being told that Antonio Conte receives anonymous envelope with threats and a bullets inside.
Not the greatest advertisement for Italian football and the country as a whole,
Club football is currently in suspension to accommodate the international break. At the conclusion of the international matches, Inter Milan will once again assemble to prepare for their match against Torino. With only one point separating Inter and Juventus, Conte will want his boys to keep the pressure on the reigning champions.
