Arda Turan is in trouble and faces prison charge.

Arda Turan could be on his way to prison after reported assault on Turkish singer Berkay Sahin outside a Turkish nightclub. It is understood that he is facing a charge between three and twelve years.

The incident happened back in October and Turkish TV station publishing footage of that aftermath. Besides, it is understood that the Barcelona player was accused of sexual harassment and usage of an illegal gun.

According to various reports in Europe, Sahin and his wife were in a club when Turan approached them both.

The singer claims that Turan made comments to his wife by saying,  “You are very pretty, if you weren’t married I wouldn’t let you get away.” It infuriated the singer and this riot to more than a verbal agreement between these two.

It is understood there was more than a verbal agreement between Sahin and Turan which lead to violence.

After this horrendous incident, it is understood that Turan wanted to apologize to Sahin as he went to the hospital. The former Atletico Madrid midfielder took an unlicensed gun with him and told the 37-year-old to shoot him if he wants.

There is no chance that the singer would agree to that and the Turkish football player fired a bullet at the ground.

Turan was fined 370,000 euros by his club for his behaviour and took to Instagram to make a statement about the assault which occurred in October.

“I would like to make a statement about the news in the papers,”

“There was an argument on my day off at the place that I went with my friends, but the reason is not about honour and purity as reported.

“It is not possible to be that way.” he wrote.

Both individuals appeared in court today and the case has been postponed until June 19. Sahin could himself face two years in the prison for the alleged assault on Arda Turan.
