Arsenal eye double scoop to end a highly eventful transfer window.

Premier League giants Arsenal have been extremely busy in the transfer window. It has been one of the most memorable summers for Arsenal fans in a long time. Unai Emery has not disappointed his faithful in the transfer market at all. He has already grabbed the signatures of five players.

Bernd Leno, Sokratis, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mateo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira are the five names who have been entrusted to refresh the squad. Two more players are in line to move to Arsenal.

The Gunners will approach Polish teenager Sebastian Walukiewicz from Pogon Szczecin. The second name is Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen. This news has been reported by the Sun.

Sebastian Walukiewicz is one of the hottest prospects from Poland. Southampton have also been keeping a close eye on the 18 year old’s development in his home country. A 30 million pound spending spree is expected from the former Paris Saint Germain boss before the transfer deadline on 9th August.

Leon Bailey has been linked to several European clubs in the recent months. He is willing to follow former teammate Bernd Leno to Arsenal. The Jamaican became the centre of attention after a memorable one and a half year with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Gunners are currently in Singapore, playing pre-season friendlies. Their most recent was a 3-1 penalty shootout loss to Atletico Madrid. It was a convincing display from the Gunners in a match where only finishing was poor.

They will be hoping to get a taste of Champions League football in the 2019/20 campaign by finishing among the top four in the Premier League. Their season opens with a game against Man City at the Emirates before visiting Chelsea to the Stamford Bridge in the second match week. A strong season is expected from the north Londoners in the Premier League this time out, especially after a spending spree and the absence of Champions League fixtures.
