Aaron Ramsey to Juventus

Arsenal have identified Joan Jordan as a replacement for the outgoing Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal have confirmed their long-serving midfielder Aaron Ramsey’s departure after the turn of Christmas. The Welsh International has decided to turn down an approach from the Gunners to join the reigning Italian champions Juventus when this season concludes.

The 28-year-old has been one of the important players under the management of Unai Emery and his move to Turin for a free transfer is a huge loss for them. In order to be slick, the Gunners have been watching the development of SD Eibar Joan Jordan. The Spanish International has been one of the best players for the mid-table club and has gained much adulation over the past few months.

The 24-year-old has started 24 games this term, scoring three and assisting another four to his name. With the ability to play as a holding or offensive midfielder, Jordan is one of the best talents in the La Liga this campaign. He was part of the side and played full 90 minutes which beat Real Madrid 3-0 and drew 1-1 at Wanda Metropolitano.

Joan Jordan was an Espanyol product and moved to Eibar in 2017 for a fee of 1 million. He was totally an unknown character when he arrived at the club, but Jose Luis Mendilibar is totally using him to his strengths. Since moving to the club two years before, he has made 68 appearances for Eibar and thereby stamping his authority in the starting eleven.

The Argentine midfielder Ever Banega was linked with a possible move to the Gunners during the last two transfer windows, but the Sevilla star has turned them down for an unknown reason. If the Gunners fail to qualify for the Champions League next term, Unai Emery will be forced to work with a restricted budget. Joan Jordan will suit the bill perfectly for the English outfit.

Since Jordan has only one year of contract left, the Spanish publication Marca say that the club are willing to negotiate with Arsenal for a potential transfer. Known for his brilliant right foot, delivering set pieces and enormous work rate, Jordan is a talent which could excite the Emirates faithful.
