AS Roma Away Kit: Fans rave over New Roma Away Shirt. The Italian club just dropped their away kit for the 2019/20 season and the fans can’t stop fawning over it.
AS Roma have just released their new away kit for the upcoming season and it has already earned it’s share of praise from fans. The new design is inspired by the Roman ‘God of the Sky’ Jupiter.

The new design has a lightning bolt coming in from the shoulder all the way to the center. The beautiful bolt runs like a sash, from the left shoulder to the right hip. It jags its way down an otherwise white shirt with vivid shades of crimson and orange.

Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director, spoke about the design on Nike’s official website.
“When you combine Roma’s famous colors with the depth of the city’s mythology then you have a really potent mix,” he said.
“The lightning theme is a powerful concept for 2019-20. And I think both the home and away kits give fresh takes while staying true to the club’s identity.”
The kit is complemented by crimson shorts and white socks. They feature a yellow lightning bolt detail as well as a Nike swoosh and the words “AS Roma” midway up the shin.
The 2019-20 AS Roma away kit will be available on July 12 on nike.com, asromastore.com and in official retailers.
