ATK Team 2019/20: ATK is set to kick-off their new ISL campaign amidst certain changes and inclusions in the team under Antonio Lopez Habas.
ISL’s new season is about to start in few days and excitement is all around. Amongst all of this, none can ignore ATK, as it comes from the region where Football is celebrated the most.
Last season of ATK was underwhelming after they finished 6th in the table and in their last 5 matches they won only twice, lost twica and played a draw once, which eventually made their exit from the tournament inevitable.
ATK has made total 18 signings before the start of the season, in which India’s U-17 World Cup hero Dheeraj Singh is also included. Meanwhile, ATK has also handed contract extensions to goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharja, midfielder Komal Thatal and defender Sena Ralte.
Thus, it seems that the Kolkata based club wants to make a comeback at the top of the tournament this season. With the new season aroun the corner, we will look at some of the important details of the two-time ISL Champions.
