Kerala Blasters are set to kick off their new Indian Super League campaign under the management of Eelco Schattorie.

Kerala Blasters finished ninth in the league table last season and failed to impress their fans. The poor results were majorly down to poor recruitment as players failed to rise to the occasions.

Eelco Schattorie, who had an impressive year with Northeast United by steering them to the playoffs for the first time in the club’s history, has taken over the Manjappada.  The Dutchman is renowned for his bosting tactics and it could significantly have an effect on the players.

Starting from the goalkeeping department to the forwards, major revamp has seen them rope in good players, including Bartholomew Ogbeche, who lead the line for Schattorie with the Highlanders. As the new coach is engrossed on the defensive and offensive aspect of the game, balanced football will be guaranteed for the Kerala Blasters faithful.

As the new season kicks off in less than ten days time, we will be looking at some of the important details of the two-time ISL runners-up.
