Aubameyang goal vs Burnley: Watch Arsenal’s star striker score a screamer against the Clarets in their first home match of the season.
Arsenal have taken the lead in their first home game of the season courtesy a blinder by Aubameyang. The Gabonese fired a shot from just outside the box to place the ball past Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope. Arsenal are now leading 2-1 in the match.
Earlier in the match, Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead. In the 13th minute, he converted a corner from Dani Ceballos by fighting his way to his first goal of the season. The French forward swivelled and swept the ball between Pope’s legs to find the back of the net. However, Burnley equalised with just minutes to the Half-time through the brilliance of Ashley Barnes.

Arsenal are yet to lose a match against Burnley and Aubameyang has been at the forefront of a number of those matches. He has after all notched up a brace in all his 3 previous matches against the Clarets. Will he be able to score another today to complete the set?
With 26 minutes still left in the game and Arsenal looking ominous as they are today, it is likely that Aubameyang could continue to cast his threatening shadow on Burnley.
Word has to go out for Ceballos too, who is starting for Arsenal for the first time and has already impressed with two assists to his name. It is likely that he will now become a regular in Unai Emery’s side.
