Marcus Rashford to Real Madrid

Real Madrid have made a promise to Marcus Rashford to lure him away from Old Trafford.

Real Madrid have found their mojo back after earlier struggles this season. The Los Blancos appointed Julen Lopetegui, but the move to appoint the former Spain coach did not work out as he was relieved from the duties after the 5-1 hammering at Nou Camp. Santiago Solari, who was prone to criticisms during the first few weeks has started to get results in a consistent manner.

Even though Julen Lopetegui was not aware of the departure about Cristiano Ronaldo until it was made official, the failure to replace the Portuguese International has come back to bite them. The Spanish International decided to stick with the midfielder Isco through the left wing but made it sure that he would require a prolific striker up front. After the failure to land some of their top targets, Florentino Perez decided to go back for Mariano Diaz who had a decent season with the French outfit Lyon.

It has not gone to the plans for the Los Blancos who put their trust on the Welsh International Gareth Bale. The former Tottenham Hotspur forward’s season has been hampered with multiple injuries leading way to Karim Benzema to lead the score chart.

The French International has scored 16 goals this term, but the reigning Champions League winners are looking at a long term replacement for their number 9. According to several reports, Florentino Perez is said to be a keen admirer of the Manchester United graduate Marcus Rashford.

The 21-year-old has been one of the mainstay performers for the Red Devils over the last month following a horrendous start to the campaign. He has scored 9 goals in all competitions so far this term.

The English International is contracted with the English outfit until 2020 and the club has an option to extend for another year. According to the Express, it is understood that the Los Blancos are ready to bid 100 million euros for the young forward who is viewed as an heir to Karim Benzema at Santiago Bernabeu.

Besides, Florentino Perez is ready to guarantee him a place in the starting eleven which might force the striker to think despite it is unlikely to see in any other colour than red in the future.

On the other hand, Ed Woodward is keen to tie him down to a new contract. But, there has not been any signs of an approach from the club and the player for a contract. There is no doubt that the Real Madrid will come with a hefty sum to land him next summer.

Manchester United are said to ship off Marouane Fellaini to China after agreeing terms with the clubs. Sky Sports reported that the Belgian has also completed his medical, and the official announcement should follow soon.
