Aubameyang vs Crystal Palace: The Arsenal forward scored the second goal in a 2-2 draw, but he expressed his unhappiness after the game.

Arsenal’s 11-game winning run finally came to an end as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace. Unai Emery’s side went 1-0 down at halftime as Milivojevic scored the first goal for the home side with a penalty.

It was the Serbian midfielder who canceled Arsenal’s lead in the second half, as a foul by Granit Xhaka on Wilfried Zaha resulted in another penalty for Crystal Palace.

Xhaka scored the first goal for Arsenal with a stunning free-kick. The Gunners received a free-kick on the edge of the box and Granit Xhaka curls the ball with his left foot with enormous power.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey puts his hand on it but the shot was too powerful to push the ball outside the goal. Arsenal took the lead through Aubameyang but conceded the second goal.

Arsenal, however, remain 4th in the table. However, they could drop out of top-4 if Tottenham gets a result against Manchester City on tonight.

Aubameyang vs Crystal Palace:

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the second goal against Crystal Palace, which gave Arsenal the lead in the game. However, the lead was soon canceled by Palace as they held Arsenal to a draw.

However, Aubameyang was substituted in the 78th minute for Aaron Ramsey, and it seems as if the Gabon striker wasn’t pleased about it.

Mesut Ozil made his sentiments known when he threw his glove in anger after being substituted for Welbeck before Aubameyang. However, the Arsenal forward took to social media to show his disagreement with the decision.

He retweeted a reply which stated that Aubameyang should’ve been on the field for full-90 minutes.

Here is the screenshot of Aubameyang’s retweet.

What next?

Arsenal will take on Blackpool in the Carabao Cup round-of-16 game on Wednesday, after which they will host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool are currently 1st in the Premier League, and the clash, thus, becomes significant for Unai Emery’s side. Arsenal are currently on an 11-match unbeaten run and overcoming Jurgen Klopp’s side is a tough challenge for Unai Emery.
