The tri-series between Bangladesh, West Indies and Ireland is in full swing. In the third match of the series, an upbeat Bangladesh will clash against the proud Ireland team which would be looking to put in a much better performance and play as per their potential.
The teams will play each other once more before the final. However, currently it seems that Bangladesh and Windies are the clear favourites to play the final.
My strategy for this game will be very clear. It is important to back the batsmen considering even an average performance by a batsman will fetch more points than a good performance by a bowler. Investing in all-rounders is also a great idea.
BAN vs IRE Dream 11 Prediction
Wicket-keeper for BAN vs IRE Dream 11
Mushfiqur Rahim and Gary Wilson are the two wicket-keeping options for this match. I will surely go with the more experienced Mushfiqur Rahim who will also bat much higher up the order than Wilson and thereby, get to face more balls as well.
Bowlers for BAN vs IRE Dream 11
It makes sense to go with as few bowlers as possible. Mashrafe Mortaza walks into my team on the back of an exceptional bowling performance against the West Indies in the first match where he picked up 3 wickets. Mortaza needs to be in your team since he has a great wicket-taking ability.
My next pick will be Mustafizur Rahman who has been an excellent proponent of the new ball as well as a huge threat in the death overs. He can pick up some wickets there and add to your fantasy points. He had picked up 2 wickets in the last match as well.
My third seamer would be Barry McCarthy who was one of the only bright spots for Ireland in their last game against the West Indies. McCarthy managed to get rid of both the West Indies openers after they put on a record opening partnership. He would be beaming with confidence and considering that he comes at a reasonable price, do bring him in NOW!
👉 TOMORROW: Ireland’s men’s team takes on Bangladesh at @MalahideCC. Play scheduled to start at 10.45am.

All-rounders for BAN vs IRE Dream 11
The first all-rounder to walk into my squad without any question would be the Bangaldeshi legend, Shakib Al Hasan. He has been one of the best all-rounders in the world for almost a decade now and he keeps contributing to his team with both bat and ball.
Shakib will be batting at No. 3 and bowling most of his 10 overs. He is the biggest asset you can have. Bring him in and make him your captain. It could be a masterstroke. Even in the last match, Shakib scored 61 and picked up a wicket also.
The other all-rounder in my XI will be the young bowling all-rounder, Mohammad Saifuddin. He has been great with the ball and has consistently bowled his 10 overs. He even picked up a couple of wickets in the last match and should look to contribute in the same vein. He can also tonk the ball in the final overs which makes him a great fantasy potential.
Batsmen for BAN vs IRE Dream 11
I have invested heavily in my batsmen and so should you!
Try to pick the openers or No. 3 batsmen who will get to bat in the powerplay overs and will have the chance to play the most number of balls. Bangladeshi openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar showed their potential in the last match and scored 80 and 73 respectively setting up Bangladesh’s victory. They can be expected to toy around with the relatively weak Irish bowling attack.
William Porterfield will be my next batsman. He has been a huge servant to the Ireland cricket team and selflessly batted brilliantly for many years now. Porterfield will also be opening and must be looking to give a solid start. If he comes good, your fantasy points will receive a huge boost.
Andrew Balbirnie makes my squad as well. He looked good in the last match and has an average of 30.38 in 54 innings with a highest score of 145. Balbirnie can be expected to score some big runs in this match. Do not make the mistake of not picking him.
My last batting spot goes to another Irish legend, Kevin O’Brien, who has been instrumental in many historical victories of Ireland especially the one against England on World Cup 2011. He even batted exceptionally in the last match scoring 68 off 77 balls. Kevin O’Brien is probably the most important cog in the Ireland batting order. He has to be picked as he can be expected to come good again given his history of consistency.
