BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11 Prediction : Dream11 Fantasy Tips for Belgium vs Germany in Women’s FIH Pro League

BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11 Prediction Team : Biggest over achievers this year, Belgium look to steer clear of Germany on Sunday

The one side who’ve made us stand up and take notice this year have undoubtedly been Belgium in the latest edition of the FIH Pro League. Coming into the tournament as the lowest ranked side, the world number 13 outfit have been an absolutely riveting spectacle to behold. Sitting in fourth place after having contested in just 9 matches, Belgium’s success has been unprecedented this season.

Having won 4 of their previous 5 encounters, Belgium’s rampant performances have seen them go on a marauding spree which sees them garner 18 points. Most recently, they had defeated Great Britain 4-1 in a terrific performance which epitomised just how exquisite their attacking department has been.

On the other hand, their closest competitors Germany, have had to endure the consequences of being way too inconsistent. Defeated 2-1 by Argentina last time around, the side with 15 points find themselves snapping on Belgium’s heels as they look and try to establish a couple of matches where they can come out on top.

Probable Winner

Being the first match between these two sides, both are going to be a relatively unknown quantity to each other. However given the awe-inducing, meticulous from that Belgium have shown ever since their advent into the tournament, they will head into the encounter as clear favourites.

This is a match which is bound to be an edge of the seat thriller though. There’s way too much at stage for both the sides as they move onto their quest of establishing themselves in the top 4 echelon of the league table. If Belgium can win this, they’ll take an outright lead against Germany, a six point cushion which will see them make a massive stride.

Elsewhere, for Germany a win would see them pull back things and be level on points with Belgium after 10 matches. While this match will be tantalisingly poised, we see Belgium coming out of it as the winning side.

We’ll be going in with an equal blend of players from both the sides in our Dream 11 line-up for the day.

Goal-Keeper for BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11

The easiest decision we had to make while we set out to make our team, there was only one clear cut candidate staring us in the face. With hardly anyone else even having 50 points, Belgium’s Aisling D’Hooghe is the player we are going to imbed in our side.

Defenders for BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11

At the front and at the back, Germany and Belgium head into this encounter with exactly identical figures. Both have scored 17 goals while conceding 12, showing how equally contested and edge of the seat thriller match this is.

We expect the goals to be relatively low in this encounter with either side finding it difficult to work through their opponents and score. We’ll begin with our picks from Germany with Janni Wieland Muler and Nike Lorenz both forming a deadly partnership for us. The two have in unison quelled out attacks, nipping them before they could prosper fortuitously and they should be at it again against Belgium.

She’s been rested for the alternate matches but against an opposition of the calibre of Germany she’s going to be in the playing XI without a shadow of doubt. Judith and Emma are both going to come into our side with us opting for a two women partnership from Belgium as well.

Midfielders for BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11

Alix Gerniers has been a testament of everything that has been worked in Belgium’s favour this season. Be it from defending resolutely to unleashing an engrossing onslaught on opponent’s defences, she’s been a wonderful player. With 445 points to her name, she’s our first pick from Belgium for this encounter.

Accompanying her brilliantly has been Nelen, someone who has ensured that the two man pivot for Belgium the middle of the park has been improbable to break down. They’ve tasted runaway success this tournament and will yet again against Germany. Pauline Leclef hasn’t been left too far behind and she’ll completely a sweep of Belgium midfielders for us.

Forwards for BEL-W vs GER-W Dream11

This is where we are going to bring in two German players with Hannah Gablac and Charlotte both finding a place in our side. For everything the midfield has lacked attacking wise, these two have more than made up for, combining together deliciously to thwart down opposition defences.

Luise Versavle be the Belgian representation for us in the final department.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Belgium all-rounder Alix is going to be our captain on the day while we’ve decided to make Nelen the vice-captain.
