Suranga Lakmal bowled well the other night as he picked up 2 wickets. Lakmal was one of the only bright spots for the Lankans as they crumbled. He should pick some wickets here as well.
My other 2 pacers are the Australian duo of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins. They both did not play the first warm- up and is most likely to get a go in this game. Starc and Cummins have been the most feared bowlers in cricket over the past couple of years and they will definitely make an impact.
All-rounders for AUS vs SL Dream 11
Marcus Stoinis is one of the better all-rounders in ODI cricket. He has been in decent touch and has been batting and bowling pretty well. He can pick up wickets at crucial moments and also smash a few balls to and beyond the boundary. Get him in!
Dhananjay de Silva is another player who has made everyone sit up and take note off late. De Silva has been in good form in the series preceding the World Cup and will want to contribute especially with the ball. I bring him in as well.

Kusal Mendis is the only keeper in my team. I did consider bringing in Kusal Perera but I want to have sufficient spots for the big batsmen as well. Hence, I go only with Mendis for this one.

Batsmen for AUS vs SL Dream 11
Dimuth Karunaratne is my first batsman for this match. He played a good knock in the first warm-up where he scored 87 while opening the batting. His form earns him a spot in my team just like Angelo Mathews who also walks into my team. Mathews is an experienced campaigner and has been in fine form as well. He scored a run a ball 64 and was extremely calm under pressure.
Australia captain Aaron Finch is also there in my team. He showed great form in the Pakistan series and Finch can make a huge impact at the top of the order. He would want to get among the runs before the World Cup begins.
The talented duo of David Warner and Steven Smith also find a spot in my team. While David Warner had a fantastic IPL where he was the highest run-scorer and showed the world that he is back, Smith took a while longer to prove that he deserves the World Cup berth and is still one of the best batsmen in the world.
In the warm-up against hosts England, Steve Smith walked in at No. 4 and scored an unbelievable 116 off 102 balls. These 2 are sure to get more game time before the big matches. Hence, I make them my captain and vice-captain for my team with Warner being the captain.
