Bernard Arnault of Louis Vuitton wants to buy AC Milan and reunite Messi and Guardiola

According to a report from Spanish outlet La Republica, per AS, it is believed that Bernard Arnault, the third richest man in the world wants to purchase AC Milan. The report goes on to add that he not only wants to buy the club but also invest heavily and has already planned the arrival of Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola.

Arnault, who is worth an eye-watering $101.2bn, only trails Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates when it comes to individual wealth. He already oversees an empire of more than 60 brands including Louis Vuitton and Sephora. Buying a football club is not too out there. He has the funds to complete the take over and improve the state of the club.

However, the biggest issue here would be in convincing Guardiola to part ways with Manchester City, where he is currently in possession of arguably the most complete squad in the world. More difficult would be to talk Lionel Messi into leaving Barcelona.

There are also the complications involving takeovers. Usually they are long drawn out process when an ownership of a club is transferred. With Messi not get younger by the day, this seems a little like a pipe dream that is too out there.
