Champions League lived up to its stature last night. Liverpool and Sevilla put up a show last night as Liverpool scored 3 in first half and it just seemed so that it is going to be a night to forget for the Spanish side.
However, they came back into the match with injury time goals to draw level with Liverpool, setting up an interesting Matchday 6 for their group.

Real Madrid blew APOEL Nicosia out of the park with 6 goals without a reply and there were no doubts that Los Blancos could reach double figures. In the same group, Spurs too won their match-up with Dortmund, which essentially kicks them out of the competition for this year.
Night 2 – Match Day 5 promises to be another great day of Champions League with some great games in the offing.

Manchester United just needs a draw from the other two remaining fixtures to qualify and Mourinho’s men should comfortably qualify for the Round of 16.
Basel needs to win tonight and a slip up from CSKA to qualify and a similar story line applies for CSKA. Benfica is all but out of the Champions League group stage from this years’ competition. Interesting night for Group A.
Group B: PSG vs Celtic & Anderlecht vs Bayern Munich

This group is done and dusted. PSG and Bayern have made it through and now it is just a race to top the group. PSG can top this group just by achieving a better result than the Bavarians in their group match against Anderlecht.
Given the amount of goals they have been scoring – 17 goals in the last 4 group games without conceding a single goal, they should be heavy favorites to finish top of Group B.
Group C: Qarabag vs Chelsea & Atletico Madrid vs Roma

Roma | 4 | 8 |
Chelsea | 4 |

Atletico Madrid | 4 |

Qarabag | 4 |

Atletico much like Dortmund have had a disastrous outing this time around in Champions League and any slip up in the remaining two matches could see the side that reached two finals in last four seasons face a group stage exit.
They need to win – plain and simple. Roma and Chelsea both need one win from their remaining 2 matches to make it to the round of 16 and in such a scenario, Atletico will be out eventually irrespective of the results. Surely, the Rojiblancos faithful will be hoping against all hopes for their team to stay alive in this competition.
Group D: Juventus vs Barcelona & Sporting vs Olympiakos

Talk about heavyweights and history and you have it: Barcelona play Juventus tonight at the Allianz Stadium and expect nothing less than fireworks here.
Last time Catalans visited Turin, a certain Paulo Dybala punished them and the Juve fans will be hoping for more of the same. Sporting will be hoping for a win to keep their hopes alive going into Match day 6 and any slip-up from Juve could prove beneficial for the Portuguese side.
