Bruno Fernandes announcement video: Twitter reacts to Manchester United’s brilliant video for their latest midfield signing.

Manchester United completed the signing of Bruno Fernandes on Thursday. The deal has cost Red Devils an initial fee of £46.5million (€55m), with up to £21.1m (€25m) to follow in add-ons. His contract at Old Trafford will run until the summer of 2025.

The club have now come out with an announcement video on their Twitter captioned:

“This is his stage. @B_Fernandes8 #MUFC.”

Manchester United fans have flocked to the video and left their thoughts on what they think of the announcement.

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has said that he has only heard good things about Manchester United’s latest recruit from former United stars and Ferdinand’s team mates, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani.

According to Metro, Ferdinand said:

“I’ve spoken to a few of his teammates at national level and club level.

“Nani, my old teammate, says he’s a fantastic player, says he’s perfect for England. Says he’s got all the tools, all the right attributes.

“Cristiano said he’s fantastic, creates chances for him. He can manipulate the ball, take the ball, confident.

“These is the type of things that you want to hear when Manchester United are signing a player.

“So, fans, based on what I’ve heard about him and what I’ve seen, I’m hopeful and confident that this guy can go out there and do the job.”
