Bruno Fernandes Transfer: Midfielder breaks silence over potential Man Utd move

Bruno Fernandes has iterated that he has not made up his mind yet.

Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a host of clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur. The midfielder experienced an extraordinary two seasons by scoring more than 30 goals, and found his teammates on 16 occasions.

The Sporting CP midfielder was part of the squad which went on to lift the UEFA Nations League with a 1-0 victory over the Netherlands. Following the historic triumph, Fernandes was asked about his future.

The 24-year-old said that he is not interested in talking about the transfer and is solely concentrating on the pre-season with Sporting. He reiterated that he will only move out of the club when the offer is too hard to refuse.

He said: “I know nothing, I will take the next few days to understand what is true,” Fernandes told Sport Mediaset.

“We know that newspapers sometimes have to make a show to move the market and sell. I’m calm, I’m at a big club. I don’t need to move, I’m not trying to leave.

“If the opportunity comes to go to a team that you can’t refuse, I’ll talk to Sporting.”

And when asked about a potential move to Inter Milan, Fernandes replied: “I had a great time in Italy, I still watch the Italian championship: both Inter and the others, I follow them all.

“I do not know if their interest is true, but Inter are a great team, they have history. ‘They have a great coach who has made history with Juventus, he has done well with their national team, but the other teams will strengthen as well.”

The Sporting CP midfielder is expected to cost over 70 million in the summer transfer window. United and Spurs are ready to meet Sporting’s demands.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?
