CCH vs RAR Dream11 Prediction
As we reach the business end of the 7th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, it will be two of the best teams in the tournament fighting it out in the 41st match of the competition. Table topper Chattogram Challengers will square off against Rajshahi Royals who are currently occupying the 4th place in the points table.
Both these teams have already ensured their qualification to the next round. While Challengers are sitting pretty with 16 points from 11 games, Royals have 14 points to their kitty and still harbour hopes of finishing in the top two. If Challengers manages to win this encounter, they will finish the group stage at the top of the points table.
However, if Royals beat Challengers in the final game, the former team will need some results to go their way in order to ensure their top-two finish. In all likelihood, we should witness a mouth-watering contest on our hands with two top teams squaring off in a high voltage clash.
Pitch Conditions and Toss
The Sher-e Bangla Stadium in Dhaka has predominantly produced sporting wickets. However, in the last few days, the pitch has been relatively on the slower side and batting hasn’t been pretty easy. The team winning the toss could be in dilemma about their choice. However, given the slowness of the pitch, batting first could be a wise option.

Liton Das and Chadwick Walton will be two wicket-keepers of our dream team. Liton Das, in particular, is a terrific timer of the ball and has looked in impressive touch in the tournament. The wicket-keeper batsman scored 56 in the previous clash against the Rajshahi Royals and will be hoping to replicate much of the same today and against the same opposition.
On the other hand, Chadwick Walton hasn’t been in the best of touches in the last few matches. However, he has already proved his mettle early on and will be hoping to come up with a match-winning performance.
Lendl Simmons and Chris Gayle will be the first two batsmen in our dream XI team. Gayle played his first match of the tournament against the Royals and will be up for the challenge against the same team. He scored 23 in the opening clash and will look to build on his start. On the other hand, Lendl Simmons scored a half-century against the Royals and will look to replicate his performance against the same team.
Imrul Kayes and Afif Hossain will be the next two batters in our dream XI team. Both these batsmen have been in great form. While Kayes is currently the 5th highest run-getter of the tournament, Afif Hossain occupies the 10th spot. Kayes has scored 386 runs in 10 matches at an average of 64.33 and a strike rate of 134.49. On the other hand, Afif Hossain has accumulated 315 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 137.55.
Andre Russell and Muktar Ali will be two all-rounders in our dream XI team. Russell hasn’t been in the best of form in the recent past. However, given his class and reputation, he cannot be left out of any dream XI team. In addition to his batting abilities, the Caribbean is an impressive medium pacer.
On the other hand, Muktar Ali is also having a good tournament so far. He has been pretty impressive in important junctures of the game.
Kesrick Williams, Mehedi Hasan Rana and Farhad Reza will be the three bowlers in our dream XI team. Kesrick Williams has been a wicket-taker for West Indies and it has been no exception with his franchise teams. However, he has gone for plenty of runs on occasions.
On the other hand, Mehedi Hasan Rana is the 2nd highest wicket-taker in the tournament at the moment with 17 scalps in 8 games. He has been a consistent wicket-taker and will look to make an impact in today’s game. Farhad Raza has also bagged some important wickets and could be an important member of his team.
Captain and Vice-captain
Imrul Kayes will be the captain of the day while Chris Gayle will be the vice-captain.
