According to reports from England, Chelsea have set a £200m fee for Eden Hazard.

Real Madrid said farewell to Cristiano Ronaldo at the beginning of July. Since then, constant links have been talking about a transfer for Neymar and Eden Hazard to the club. While the move for Neymar is ruled out, Hazard is still on Real’s radar.

The Belgian has made it clear publicly that his preferred destination is Real Madrid, however, Barcelona have also emerged as a contender for his signature. He is not pushing for a transfer though, despite desire for Champions League football. Maurizio Sarri wants Hazard to stay along with Willian- who was strongly linked to Barcelona.

The Blue are doing all they can to keep hold of their star man and will now demand a world record fee from the two interested La Liga giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The amount that they want is £200 million. Eden Hazard still has two years left on his contract. Despite being offered a huge wage of £300,000 per week, the left winger rejected a contract extension.

On the other hand, Chelsea are waiting for Thibaut Courtois to return from holidays. The Belgium shot stopper has also been in the newspapers regarding a rumoured move to Madrid. His sale could be a cost of only £35 million.

Keeping in mind he has only one year left on his contract and no negotiations regarding an extension, it is best for Chelsea to let him go for a small amount now than for free next year.

In other news, the Blues have been linked with transfer incomes and outgoes from the Italian Serie A. Juventus defenders Daniele Rugani and Mateo Caldara are widely linked with a move to Chelsea and could meet with club representatives in Nice.

Maurizio Sarri is also keen on bringing in Gonzalo Higuain. That could pave the path for AC Milan to sign Alvaro Morata. Tiemoue Bakayoko has also been linked with a transfer to the San Siro, following just one season with the six time Premier League champions.
