Chelsea News: Frank Lampard makes Kepa admission after horrible showing vs Arsenal at the Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Chelsea conceded a late equaliser against Arsenal in the Premier League to share points after the visitors were reduced to 10 man in the first half. Kepa, the man between the sticks for the blues, continued his dismal showing with the gloves.

The Spaniard was slow to react to Hector Bellerin’s 87th minute strike which gave Arsenal the point they so deserved for putting up a fight despite all the odds staked against them. Kepa’s form has hit rock bottom now.
Chelsea have conceded 32 goals in the Premier League despite being at the receiving end of some of the least shots on target this season. This goes to show how much of Chelsea’s failings are down to Kepa this term and this hasn’t gone unnoticed by his boss.
Frank Lampard admits Kepa needs to improve
“I know there’s a focus on him at the minute,” Lampard said of the world’s most expensive goalkeeper at the post-match conference. “That’s top-line football. Yeah, with his feet, a couple of times he took too long and nearly gave it away. Sometimes that can change the momentum of a game.
“That’s something he will know, has to look at and we will look at. It’s normal.
“Any player, particularly goalkeepers, people will look at you. That’s when you stand up and show the mettle you’ve got. He is not the only one.
“We are in fourth position, which is seen as pretty good. I know and we know there should be another 10 points on the board at least on performance. All of us need to look at those finer details.”

Chelsea are still sitting at 4th place with Manchester United and Sheffield United 6 points behind them. However, both the sides can reduce the gap to 3 this week. Lampard will hope for a much improved showing from his side to secure the top 4 spot and not leave it till the very end.
