Chelsea Transfer News: Frank Lampard keen to bring in out of favour Real Madrid star to Stamford Bridge to bolster his side.
Chelsea recently rid themselves of a transfer ban and are now free to add players to their squad. With the embargo on transfers, Frank Lampard had his hands tied earlier. The Blues legend did a very good job with what he had at his disposal. However, he will now look to bolster his side now that he has the chance to.

According to El Desmarque, Chelsea are eager to add to their midfield in the transfer window and are looking to bring in Real Madrid playmaker Isco. The report adds that Chelsea are willing to cough up €55 million to complete the transfer.
The 27-year old is recognised one of the best attacking midfielder in the world. However, since last season, he has seen a dip in form which has resulted in him being sparingly used by Zinedine Zidane this season.
In fact, the Spaniard has only started 6 games this season. He has also failed to score a goal or an assist. However, the report claims that he will be given much more freedom at West London under Frank Lampard who intends to play him in front of N’Golo Kante, giving him the freedom to play his role unburdened.
Florentino Perez unwilling to sell
According to the same report, Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has no intentions to part ways with Isco and wants to keep him at Santiago Bernabeu. However, he is open to having his mind changed as long as a suitable financial compensation is offered.
Chelsea’s reported offer of €55 million seems more than appropriate. Especially for a player clearly out of touch and favour at the Spanish Capital. Isco himself could benefit from the move. Getting more minutes will surely help him get him back to the form that helped him earn his stripes in the game.
