Christian Eriksen is one of the most under rated midfielders in Europe at the moment. He is Spurs’ chief play maker, as his vision and intelligence allows the likes of Alli and Kane to fully express themselves.
Barcelona understand that they will need to put together an insane bid to prize Eriksen from Tottenham. The North London club have become a major player in the league over the last couple of years, as they finished in the top four for two successive seasons.
With a fantastic side and brand new stadium about to come, Spurs are going to enter a new era very soon. While Eriksen will no doubt wish to be a part of that era, the lure of Barcelona might just be too much for him.

Barcelona, who are on course for at leas two titles this season, will no doubt want to strengthen this summer. With Iniesta, Rakitic and Gomes either on the wane or out of the club in the summer, the Catalans will certainly be in the market for a high quality midfielder.
Eriksen certainly fits the bill, as the Danish play maker has the vision, quality and intelligence that is required from a Barcelona midfielder.

“I don’t comment on rumours much. But when clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are mentioned, it’s always a compliment.”
“Since Christian was 14 years old, big clubs have shown interest. The first were Chelsea, AC Milan and Barcelona. Since then there has been no transfer window without any offer or interest.
“It is not all clubs known by the press. Christian is not a guy who wants to talk too much. He talks with his feet.”
