Conte to Real Madrid: The former Chelsea manager has been reportedly approached by Real Madrid, according to reports.
Real Madrid are struggling in the new season. The club is currently 7th in the league, with only 14 points from 9 games so far. Julen Lopetegui’s side suffered another defeat in their La Liga campaign last weekend, as they slumped to a 2-1 loss at home to Levante.
Julen Lopetegui’s side broke an unwanted record this season, as the club registered the longest goalless run Real Madrid had ever seen. The run, too, was finally broken by Marcelo’s goal in the game last weekend, but Lopetegui’s men couldn’t prevent the loss.
In the Champions League, Real Madrid lost their second group stage game to CSKA Moscow, and Keylor Navas, the Los Blancos’ goalkeeper, admitted that the side was missing Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the Los Blancos registered an edgy 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen in their third group stage game yesterday.
Speculations have also begun on Lopetegui’s job at Real, with many Spanish outlets claiming that the manager could be sacked this week. The latest reports from English outlet Sky suggests that Real Madrid are prepared to bring Lopetegui’s replacement.
Conte to Real Madrid:
The Italian manager, who most recently was the boss at Chelsea, has been reportedly approached by executives of Real Madrid, according to Sky.

Antonio Conte spent two seasons at Chelsea, where he won the Premier League in his first season. Even when the Italian won the FA Cup in the second season, Chelsea parted ways with Conte.
Sky has also reported that Real Madrid inquired with Conte over succeeding Zinedine Zidane during the manager, but the Italian manager denied. However, Antonio Conte is now ready to come back to football.

What next?
It has not been suggested if Lopetegui has an immediate threat to his job ahead of the game against Barcelona. The El Clasico could be significant for the Spanish manager, as a loss against Barca could further drift Real Madrid 7 points away from their arch-rivals.
