Bangladesh vs Australia 1st T20I Live Telecast Channel in India and Australia: When and where to watch BAN vs AUS Dhaka T20I?

Bangladesh vs Australia 1st T20I Live Telecast Channel: The SportsRush presents before you the timing and live streaming details of the first BAN vs AUS T20I.

Despite playing their first-ever T20I against each other 14 years ago, Bangladesh and Australia are yet to compete in a bilateral T20I series. However, this won’t be the case from tomorrow as the two teams are all set for a five-match T20I series months before the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

In an ideal world, both Bangladesh and Australia would have wanted to play with their first-choice players with a world event in sight but that won’t be the case due to various reasons. Readers must note that the hosts will be captained by Mahmudullah and will be without the likes of Tamim Iqbal (injury), Mushfiqur Rahim (quarantine issue) and Liton Das (family reasons).

Australia, on the other hand, will continue to play without absentees from West Indies tour namely Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Kane Richardson and others. With regular captain Aaron Finch also ruled out of the tour due to an injury, Matthew Wade will lead Australia for the second time in his T20I career on Tuesday.

Considering how Bangladesh and Australia have only played four T20Is against each other till date (last being in 2016), a large number of players from both the sides will be playing their first-ever T20I against the opposition.

As has been the case during international cricket in West Indies, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in the last year or so, Australia’s tour of Bangladesh 2021 won’t be available on television channels in India either.

Having said that, streaming platform Fan Code will be streaming the whole tour at a nominal price. Unlike Sri Lanka’s tour of Bangladesh 2021, fans won’t have the option of buying a pass only for the first match of the series.

Fans, who wish to buy a pass for the whole tour (five T20Is), will have to pay INR 49 on the website or mobile application of FanCode. It is worth mentioning that the same is a 50% discounted price.

As far as the fans in Australia are concerned, even they don’t have a confirmed television channel to watch Dhaka T20Is. If not for a last-minute deal arranged by Foxtel (and Kayo Sports), Australian fans will have to watch the whole tour on Rabbithole.bd Sports YouTube channel. UPDATE: Check below mentioned tweet for streaming platform

While BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) had sold the broadcasting rights to Ban Tech for local fans in Bangladesh, this series will be telecast on either of Gazi Sports, T-Sports or BTV. The exact channel will be updated after the official announcement.
