Why IPL Final Got Delayed?
The IPL final got delayed because of persistent rain in Ahmedabad. Considering the final, 120 minutes were extra added to the clock, but the downpour was so heavy that it was impossible to even conduct the toss.
To everyone’s respite, the match will be played tonight as a reserve day was part of the plans for the final since Day 1. The fans will be allowed to use their same original tickets to enter the stadium. That being said, it could rain right before the playing hours tonight as well.
