DC vs KKR Head to Head Record in IPL History

The 28th match of the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi tomorrow. The second of a weekday double-header will resume IPL rivalry between these two teams after almost 12 months.

DC, who have won three out of their last five matches against this opposition, had emerged as the victorious team in their latest encounter as well. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav and pacer Mustafizur Rahman had joined hands to play titular role in what eventually was a 4-wicket victory at the Wankhede Stadium. KKR, however, have won more matches than DC in their overall head-to-head records in the last 15 years.

Although there isn’t a major difference between these two sides, Knight Riders even have a minor 5-4 lead when it comes to playing at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Capitals, on the other hand, have won have won 32 and lost 41 out of their 75 home matches thus far. That being said, the hosts (8.2) have a better average run rate than the visitors (8.08) in the national capital.

As far as IPL 2023 standings are concerned, both Delhi and Kolkata are in the bottom half of the points table. Yet to win a match despite five outings, DC are at the bottom of the points table. KKR, meanwhile, have won two and lost three games to be at the seventh position at this point in time.
