ICC T20 World Cup schedule and fixtures: When and where will T20 World Cup 2021 matches be played?

ICC T20 World Cup schedule and fixtures: The SportsRush present for you full list of fixtures of ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

ICC (International Cricket Council) have announced the fixtures of the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup scheduled to be played between October 17 and November 14 in UAE and Oman.

The first day of the showpiece event will be a double-header day as Oman will take on Papua New Guinea and Bangladesh will take on Scotland at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground.

Readers must note that Round 1 will be played between eight teams who have been divided into two groups. Top two teams from both the groups will enter Group 1 and Group 2 of Super 12 (Round 2) according to their position on the points table.

While Round 1 will last for the first six days, it will be on October 23 that Australia will lock horns with South Africa in Abu Dhabi to kick-off Round 2. On the same day, England and defending champions West Indies will face each other in Dubai.

Arguably the biggest clash of the group stage, India and Pakistan will contest against each other on a Sunday evening. The bumper contest will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Australia and England, who are scheduled to contest in Ashes 2021-22 later this year, will play against each other on October 30 in Dubai.

A total of four teams (two from each group) will qualify for the knockout round, i.e., semi-finals, which will be played on November 10 and 11 and will be followed by the final match on November 14. It is worth mentioning that November 15 has been kept as a reserve day.
