Jarvo 69: Fan with Indian jersey enters playing area at Lord's; Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja can't stop laughing

Fan with Indian jersey: An intruder had to be walked out of the playing area to put on display a hilarious incident at Lord’s.

During the third day of the second Test of the ongoing India’s tour of England at Lord’s, Indian team had an extra player for company all of a sudden in the form of an intruder.

It all happened after the 74th over when an English fan entered the playing area wearing an Indian jersey. Being asked by a security official to walk off the ground, the fan didn’t shy away from trying to convince the former that he’s a part of the Indian team.

Named Jarco with a jersey number of 69, the fan put on display a hilarious incident which was dearly enjoyed by India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Mohammed Siraj.

The fact that he walked towards other players instead of leaving the ground upon confrontation made Jadeja and Siraj to convulse into laughter. Eventually, Jarco had to move out of the playing area after more security officials entered the ground.

On a separate and more important note related to the match, readers must note that England have reduced their deficit to below 100 runs in the first innings primarily on the back of captain Joe Root’s 22nd Test century. A 121-run partnership for the fourth wicket alongside Jonny Bairstow (57) kept the visiting bowlers at bowlers especially in the morning session today.
