Marco Jansen height: How tall is Marco Jansen in feet?

South Africa lost the test series against Australia by losing the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. The performance of the South African team has been criticized, and the batting of the side has been an absolute failure. However, it is safe to say that the bowling of the side has been impressive.

Kagiso Rabada is the highest wicket-taker of the series with 10 wickets, and he has able partners in Anrich Nortje, Marco Jansen and Lungi Ngidi. In the Boxing Day test, Jansen proved that he is a sort of all-rounder as he scored an excellent half-century in the 1st innings when every other batter failed.

Jansen made his debut in the last year’s boxing day test against India, and he has grown in stature in the last year. He is a permanent name in the test team, and he also has a big IPL contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad. After the test series, he will play for Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 League.

Marco Jansen height

A photo has been surfacing online, and it is getting a lot of attention on social media. During the 4th day of the Boxing Day test, Marco Jansen and Temba Bavuma were batting together, and the height difference between them was huge. Bavuma is certainly one of the shortest players around, whereas Jansen is one of the tallest.

There is a lot of curiosity about the height of Jansen, and the young pacer recently revealed his exact height in an interview with Channel 7. He said that his height is around 2.09 metres. In the interview, he also talked about the importance of fitness for the pacers in order to stay injury free.

“It’s 2.09 metres, I think it’s 6’8″ if I’m not mistaken,” Marco Jansen said to 7Cricket.

It is certain that Jansen has not been at his best in the series with the ball as he has managed to scalp just 4 wickets in two matches in conditions that were suited for the pacers. He would want to improve his record in the last test.
