The first Test of the ongoing West Indies’ tour of New Zealand will begin from tomorrow at the Seddon Park in Hamilton. After winning the T20I series 2-0, New Zealand will now be looking to push a similar result in the Test series.
The last time when New Zealand and West Indies played a Test against each other was in during West Indies’ tour of New Zealand in 2017. In what was also a two-match Test series, New Zealand had secured a 2-0 victory on the back of Test match victories by an innings and 67 runs and 240 runs respectively.

West Indies, whose last Test victory against New Zealand dates back to 2014 in Port of Spain, don’t have the best of records when it comes to playing Tests in New Zealand. The last time when West Indies had won a Test match in New Zealand was under the captaincy of Courtney Walsh in 1995.

In a development which might not be appreciated by the Indian fans, West Indies’ tour of New Zealand won’t be available on television channels in India.
Similar to what was the case during the T20I series, Fan Code is likely to stream the three-match Test series. While the T20I series was available for INR 29 for three matches, such an offer for the Test series isn’t available for now. Fans should continue checking FanCode for streaming updates on the Hamilton Test.
