Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals will be clashing against one another during the 11th match of the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League tomorrow. Guwahati, which had hosted its inaugural IPL match between RR and Punjab Kings on Wednesday, will be hosting its second and last match of the season on a Saturday afternoon.

Barring a couple of seasons where Royals were suspended from the IPL, they have faced Capitals (previously Daredevils) in each season of the biggest T20 league across the globe. What makes this rivalry and this contest fascinating is the fact that both the teams have won 13 matches out of the 26 that they’ve played till now.
Hence, don’t be surprised if the third IPL 2023 double-header starts with a match which goes down to the wire. With these two teams separated by a mere two-run margin as far as average innings total against each other is concerned, it is further an evidence of the strong possibility of a close encounter.

DC, who have won three out of their last five matches against this opposition, had ended up winning the last match at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy as well. A match-winning 101-ball 144-run second-wicket partnership between David Warner and Mitchell Marsh had ensured an 8-wicket victory with 11 balls to spare. Having score individual half-centuries, both the Australian batters had hit a combined of 10 fours and eight sixes between them.
