Shere Bangla National Stadium Dhaka weather: What is the weather forecast for 5th Bangladesh vs Australia Mirpur T20I?

Shere Bangla National Stadium Dhaka weather: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the fifth BAN vs AUS T20I.

During the fifth T20I of the ongoing Australia’s tour of Bangladesh in Mirpur, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah has won the toss and chose to bat for the third time in a row.

Both the teams have made a couple of changes to their respective Playing XIs in a bid to provide opportunities to more players ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Australia, who have brought back Adam Zampa into the XI, have taken the field with three specialist spinners in Zampa, Ashton Agar and Mitchell Swepson for the first time in a T20I. Given the number of overs Ashton Turner has bowled on this tour, it wouldn’t be a surprise if lone specialist pacer Nathan Ellis doesn’t bowl his full quota of overs.

Having promoted all-rounder Mahedi Hasan as Mohammad Naim’s opening partner, Bangladesh have managed to score 36 runs in the first four overs as both the batsmen have been among the boundaries against the new ball.

Much like the third T20I at the same venue on Friday, the weather in Mirpur was gloomy this morning as well. Contrary to the case then, rain didn’t postpone the start of play as weather improved significantly before the start time of the match.

While the weather will remain “Cloudy” this evening, rain playing a spoilsport to the extent that overs are lost is unlikely to happen. It is only around 11:00 PM (local time) that rain probability will increase in excess of 51% due to presence of thunderstorms.

According to AccuWeather, the rain probability before 11 PM range between 34% – 47% at the Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium.
