The Perth Stadium was witness to another master class from Steve Smith, as he smashed his fourth Test double hundred on ‘Day 2’ of the ongoing first Test of the series against the West Indies.

Smith added another 141 runs to his overall individual tally in the day, after remaining unbeaten at the score of 59* on the first day of the Test.

He stitched together a marathon of a partnership alongside fellow double centurion Marnus Labuschagne (204) worth 251 runs for the third wicket, and then followed it up with another 196-run stand for the fourth wicket with Travis Head (99), who missed out on a well deserved century.
