Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has stepped into the culinary business now. After announcing his retirement from cricket, the left-handed batter is all set to start his second innings. Raina has opened an Indian restaurant in the capital city of the Netherlands, Amsterdam.

It is well known that Raina is himself a passionate cook and is now set to take his passion to a whole new level. He posted several pictures of his new restaurant across his social media handles. Raina is not the only Indian celebrity to have an eating joint abroad. He has joined the likes of actor-producer Priyanka Chopra and singer Asha Bhosle who already own restaurants in New York and Birmingham respectively.
Amsterdam has been a special city for Raina. At the time of marriage, his wife Priyanka Chaudhary was working as a senior software tester for ING in the Bijlmer, which is in the neighborhood of Amsterdam. He has spent a lot of time in the city.

Raina announced the opening of ‘Raina Indian Restaurant’ where he has has expressed his mission of bringing the most authentic Indian taste in Europe. He shares an incredible bond with cooking and food. In the pictures shared by Raina, he is also seen in the kitchen wearing an apron. He has been getting a lot of well wishes for the same.

Does Former CSK Batter Own Restaurants In India As Well?
It is Raina’s first-ever restaurant and he does not have any restaurants in India as of now. Former India captain Virat Kohli, however, owns a few in India. Last year, he converted Kishore Kumar’s bungalow named Gouri Kunj into an eating place. Some other cricketers also own their own food joints in the country.
Raina may extend his food business going forward and India can be on his cards as well. Apart from restaurants, Raina has invested in several other ventures as well.
