Weather at Trent Bridge Nottingham

Latest images coming in from Nottingham suggest a bright sunny day in the city. Having said that, there’s also a yellow warning for thunderstorm in Nottingham today.

If the weather forecast for Day 1 on AccuWeather is to be believed, the first two sessions will largely be played under a cloud cover with almost negligible probability of rain.

However, it is only during the last hour of the day that the rain probability jumps from 18% to 47% at Trent Bridge. According to the forecast, the “mostly cloudy” weather will transform into “showers” at 06:00 PM (local time), which is also the scheduled time for stumps.

If the weather prediction holds true, there might be a case of teams not able to use the extra 30 minutes to complete 90 overs on the first day of the series.
