Weather forecast in Bristol today: What is the weather prediction for 3rd England vs Sri Lanka ODI?

Weather forecast in Bristol: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the third ENG vs SL ODI.

During the third ODI of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of England in Bristol, Sri Lanka have once again lost wickets against the new ball to make proceedings difficult for their middle-order batsmen.

Much like the second ODI at The Oval, Sri Lanka captain Kusal Perera (9) was the first batsmen to be dismissed as he inside edged an expensive drive on to his stumps.

Chris Woakes, who has replaced Mark Wood in this match, continued from where he had left off during a match-winning performance in the first ODI in Chester-le-Street. Other than dismissing Perera, Woakes also sent back Dhananjaya de Silva (4) as his new-ball bowling partner David Willey picked the wickets of Avishka Fernando (14) and Pathum Nissanka (6).

Sri Lanka, who lost four wickets in the first powerplay, needed the exact opposition of such a performance in a dead-rubber to boost their morale.

Weather forecast in Bristol

It is worth mentioning that the toss was delayed at the County Ground due to a brief rain interruption today. According to AccuWeather, there could be another rain break today as the current forecast is showing a decent probability of showers.

It is around 02:00 PM (local time) that the probability of rain pouring down is 51%. While clouds will continue to make their presence felt throughout the day, rain probability is slated to experience a dip as the day progresses.

However, another spell of rain (with a possibility of 52%) is expected to happen around 06:00 PM (local time). Considering how the visitors are losing wickets, there’s also a possibility of match getting over by that time. The same might not happen if rain plays spoilsport in the afternoon in Bristol.
