Weather in Lord's Cricket Ground 12 August 2021: Will it rain on Day 1 of England vs India Lord's Test?

Weather in Lord’s Cricket Ground: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for ENG vs IND 2nd Test Day 1.

Following an unfortunate draw on a day when either of the two teams could have registered a victory, England and India are all in readiness in the race for leading the series score.

After a three-day gap, both the teams will hit the ground running as the second Test will begin at Lord’s from tomorrow making England captain Joe Root the first-ever English captain to lead against India twice at this iconic venue.

England, who have won 55 and lost 32 out of their 138 Tests at Lord’s, would want to return to winning ways as their last two Tests have ended in a draw here.

India, on the other hand, have won only two out of their 18 Tests at this venue with their last victory coming under Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2014.

A primary reason behind the aforementioned draw in Nottingham was inclement weather conditions which prevented the players from continuing with the game on several occasions.

As far as the weather forecast for the first day of the second Test is concerned, August 12 is expected to be a cloudy but comparatively warm day in London.
