Zainab Abbas husband and family details: Is Zainab Abbas married?

Renowned Cricket presenter, anchor, and analyst Zainab Abbas was part of headlines the other day for a rather embarrassing reason, when she fell near the boundary cushion after colliding with the fielder while taking an interview during the ongoing SA20 2023.

Zainab is part of the star panel of commentators and presenters in the inaugural edition of Cricket South Africa’s franchise six-team T20 tournament.

The 34-year-old rose to prominence while plying her trade during the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which she believes was one of the important chapters in her career as a broadcaster.

During an interview, she had revealed that the starting point of her career was in the year 2015, when she landed up at a local news channel for the job of a Cricket presenter just for fun.

The world started taking note of her in the year 2019, when she was elected by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as one of their presenters in the ICC World Cup in England and Wales.

Moreover, in the year 2021, she became the first Pakistani presenter to make a debut for the Sky Sports in the inaugural season of ‘The Hundred’.

Zainab Abbas husband and family details

Zainab Abbas got married in the year 2019 to Hamza Kardar, son of former finance minister and former governor of State Bank of Pakistan, Shahid Hafeez Kardar.

Born in Lahore in the year 1988, she is the daughter of former Pakistan domestic cricketer Nasir Abbas and senior member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party, Andleeb Abbas.

Her father Nasir played as a bowler for Faisalabad and Hafizabad in the capacity of a bowler, while mother Andleeb has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 2018.

As per Zainab, while her father helped her understand the nitty-gritty of the sport, her mother too has a deep knowledge of the game.
