Cristiano Ronaldo is too old for Bayern Munich claims the president; the Portuguese legend turned 35 this week, while still in splendid form.
Cristiano Ronaldo is an exceptional player and even at this stage of his career, he can walk into any team and be successful. His successful stints in all three clubs he has played advocates for his efficiency.
Despite all of it, Bayern Munich’s president Herbert Hainer thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bavarian club will not be a good business as he said that he is too old to make the move.
“Of course there are always names floating around in the media linking players to the club and that is something totally understandable,” he said, per AS.
“But Cristiano Ronaldo would be too old for us.” he further said.
Ronaldo has recently turned 35 and players of his age often retire after giving these much years to football, but on the other hand, Ronaldo is just getting better with the age.
This season Ronaldo made a slow start to the season, but after Christmas, he has been beyond exceptional, in the 27 appearances this season, Ronaldo has already scored 22 goals and in 2020 he has scored in all games.

While dismissing the Ronaldo links, Hainer was far more receptive of the rumours surrounding Manchester City forward Leroy Sane, who has been linked with the German club since summer.
“Leroy Sane is a great player that we are interested in, which is a well-known fact,” he said. “Now we have to see how he comes back after his injury.”
Although, Ronaldo can still be effective for Bayern Munich but the player is surely showing the signs of decline and with the amount Juventus will ask for him, it is better for Bayern Munich to go for younger prospects.
