Croatian agent claims Luka Modric to Inter Milan move could happen
Croatia’s football agent, Marko Naletilic has hinted that Luka Modric’s move to Inter Milan could still happen this summer.
Real Madrid’s star midfielder Luka Modric has been linked with a sensational move to Inter Milan this summer. The speculations of the move grew stronger ever since the end of the World Cup last month. Modric was central to Croatia’s terrific run to the final of the tournament.
According to Croatian football agent Marko Naletilic, fans can see Luka Modric playing in the Serie A ‘sooner or later.’ In an interview to Tuttosport, quoted by Sempreinter, Naletilic stated that Ronaldo’s move to Serie A has had a significant positive impact on Italian football.

“The fact that Inter went for Modric and that Modric himself actually has taken the deal under consideration proves how much the Cristiano Ronaldo move to Juventus is affecting Italian football.
“From what I know, Luka does not only like the idea of going to Inter, he likes the idea of being their number one and being one of the main characters in Serie A,” the agent said.
“We will see, my feeling is that sooner or later we will see Luka Modric play in Italy. He grew up watching the Serie A like many Croatians in his age,” Naletilic said.
Earlier, Inter Milan’s coach Luciano Spalletti suggested that Luka Modric has expressed interest in a move to the Serie A club.

“About Modric, it is the sporting director who deals with that. I am not sure how this will finish. That he has shown interest to join us is obviously positive, we are trying to create the right conditions for him to join Inter Milan,” Spalletti said after a pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid last week.
“If Real Madrid wants to hold onto him, we would have to accept that, and I think that will happen. It does not matter so much, we are still a strong team, even if he does not join,” the manager added.
