In the two matches that Super Kings and Indians played in IPL 2018, Chennai won the first one in the season opener by a narrow margin of 1 wicket after all-rounder Kedar Jadhav turned the fortune of the game in his team’s favour.

On the second occasion, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma’s 33-ball 56* saw his team sealing a 170-run chase without much discomfort.
