IPL 2018 saw both Chennai and Rajasthan facing each other twice. During Chennai’s home game at Pune, opening batsman Shane Watson registered his third IPL century as his 106 (57) guided CSK to 204-5 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. A disciplined performance from CSK’s bowler saw RR being bundled out for 140 in 18.3 overs.

In the second match at Jaipur, Royals wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler’s 95* (60) with the help of 11 fours and two sixes aided his team to chase a 177-run target with a ball to spare.
